Applause Arts is the Musical Theater/Arts addition to The Dance Zone. Located upstairs from The Dance Zone, we aim to make it a place where you know you belong, feel inspired, challenged and encouraged.  

 

APPLAUSE ARTS provides, performance-based training for kids that are excited and passionate to become a well-rounded performer.

STAR IN A MUSICAL PRODUCTION!

There is nothing quite like the thrill and excitement of being onstage and a part of a musical production. While learning all the fundamentals of dancing, singing, and acting, we will have a blast working together, making new friends, and having pride in putting on a legendary show for family and friends!

These rehearsals and shows are a low stress atmosphere aimed at gaining the experience of being in a show, improving confidence onstage, and having loads of fun.

 

We will be putting on two different musicals per year. Spring musicals TBA.

No experience is necessary to join.

This year we are excited and proud to put on the production show “Singin’ in the Rain Jr”.

 

There will be two different casts/productions;

an Elementary cast, and a Pre-Teen/Teen cast.

 

We will be performing the production in a theater at the end of the year. 

 

Singin’ In The Rain JR. is adapted from the classic Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film. Based on the 1952 movie of the same name, Singin’ In The Rain JR. takes place in Hollywood during the last days of the silent movie era.

Auditions for specific roles will take place Sat. August 27th in the studio.

This cute musical for Primary aged kids will have these little performers working and having a blast together in a production show that will develop their stage presence, singing, dancing, and acting abilities. They will perform in costume, with microphones, in the spotlight as they learn to shine onstage! 

“Butterflies in my Belly” is a musical journey of getting over stagefright, learning to tame those pesky little butterflies through the help of loved ones and good friends met along the way. 

There will be no auditions to join the musical productions at Applause Arts, and no experience is necessary.

 

Specific roles will be assigned for the Primary aged kids, there will be no auditions for specific roles. Everyone will have a speaking role.

A singing, acting, & stage dance/movement training class, to create a well rounded performer. Recommended for kids who love to express themselves! During these Triple Threat classes your kids will explore & learn about the theater, improvisations, auditions, plays & television techniques.

In this Acting training class your kids will be learning the foundations to become a better actor for stage & screen. We will be working on acting exercises such as character development, improvisation techniques, script reading, and touch on some of the history of theater.

  • Tuition is calculated for each student by the number of classes taken, and divided into monthly installments
     

  • Tuition discounts are calculated by the number of classes each student is enrolled in.
     

  • Tuition is due on the first of each month.
     

  • $35 single registration fee;
    $50 family registration fee;
    charged annually.

     

  • A one-time Costume and Production fee of $125 will be due upon enrollment in a Musical Production.
     

  • Registration fee, plus first month's tuition due upon registration
     

  • All accounts must be secured by a credit card. Auto Pay is processed with the payment method on file on the first day of the month (Saturdays & Sundays excluded).
